Hubei Normal University (HBNU), established in April 1973, is a prominent public institution located in Huangshi, Hubei Province, China. Originally founded as the Huangshi Branch of Huazhong Normal University, it became an independent entity named Huangshi Normal University in 1978. In 2016, the Ministry of Education approved its current name, Hubei Normal University .
